There is no reception desk, no rotating roster and nobody
waiting for the room. You book a time, Natalie Rimbert meets you, and the
hour is yours.
Every treatment starts with a short conversation — what your body has
been doing, what your skin has been doing, what you actually want out of
the session — and is built from there. Pressure gets checked. Products
get chosen. Nothing runs off a script.
The studio runs on solar power, draws its water from the Wailua
aquifers, and stocks Hawaii-made products from small growers and
herbalists. That is not a marketing position; it is just how it is set
up.
All bodywork here is therapeutic, relaxing and within scope.
We do not offer deep tissue — pressure is customised instead, light through
firm, to whatever you can breathe through.

Twenty years, one pair of hands
Natalie Rimbert has worked luxury hotel spas in Hawaii, Las Vegas,
San Francisco and Cape Town. She is a dual therapist — licensed in
both massage and esthetics — so a massage and a facial come from the
same person, and the same eye.

Locally sourced, genuinely
Hawaii-made brands, herbalists and small-batch artisans: tropical
plant hydrosols, nutrient-rich oils, island-grown botanicals. Chosen
for purity and potency, and for keeping money on the island.

Powered by the sun
The studio runs entirely on solar. Water comes from the Wailua
aquifers, filtered through Kauaʻi's volcanic geology before it ever
reaches a treatment.

One guest at a time
Open Tuesday to Friday, by appointment only. Nobody is queued behind
you, and the room does not turn over in ten minutes. That is the whole
point of a small studio.

An outdoor shower, if you want it
Available by request before or after your treatment — bring swim
attire. Useful if you are coming straight off the beach, or heading
back to it.
The East Side
The island does half of it. This is the other half.
People land here expecting to unwind on arrival. Bodies are slower than
that. Sleep debt, plane seats and a long stretch of overwork do not
dissolve in an afternoon at the beach.
A good treatment gives the rest of it somewhere to go. Visitors tend to
book early in the trip so they can actually enjoy the days that follow.
Residents book on a rhythm, because that is what keeps things from
stacking up in the first place.

Twenty years in luxury hotel spas across Hawaii, Las Vegas, San Francisco

hot springs at Jemez Pueblo, the cliffs at Esalen. Those are the ones that
shaped how this studio works.
The result is treatments that carry the technique of a five-star spa and
the attention of somewhere much smaller. Licensed in both massage
(MAT-16214) and esthetics (BEO-211471).

No. Every treatment here is designed to be therapeutic, relaxing and safe within our scope of practice. Pressure is customised — light, medium or firm — and the Vital Recovery massage is the most therapeutic option on the menu, but deep tissue is not something we offer.
If deep tissue is specifically what you need, it is better to know that before you book than after.
7186 Aina Pono Street in Kapaʻa, on Kauai's East Side — about ten minutes from Wailua and twenty from Līhuʻe. The studio is by appointment only, so there is no drop-in reception; you will have the space to yourself.
Fifteen to twenty minutes before your appointment. That gives you time to complete intake forms, use the restroom and actually arrive rather than rushing straight onto the table.
Late arrivals may mean a shortened session so the next guest is not affected, and the full service fee still applies.
We ask for 24 to 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Appointments cancelled inside 24 hours may incur a fee of 50% of the service amount, and missed appointments without notice are charged in full.
A valid card may be required to reserve an appointment.
